According to The Associated Press, Behemoth frontman Adam "Negal" Darski was found innocent today in a Polish court, after being on trial for ripping pages out of a Bible and labelling it, "a deceitful book" at a concert in 2007. He was being charged for the crime of insulting religious feelings, an offense which can carry a sentence of two years imprisonment in the predominantly Catholic country of Poland. Darski was cleared of the charges when he explained that the show where the tearing took place was a closed event in which only those who had purchased tickets attended and knew what to expect, a statement held up when questioned audience members stated that they were not offended by Darski's actions or comments.

Tony Iommi Responds To Black Sabbath Reunion News Story
"I'm saddened that a Birmingham journalist whom I trusted has chosen this point in time to take a conversation we had back in June and make it sound like we spoke yesterday about a Black Sabbath reunion.
"At the time I was supporting the Home of Metal exhibition and was merely speculating, shooting the breeze, on something all of us get asked constantly, 'Are you getting back together?'"
"Thanks to the internet it's gone round the world as some sort of 'official' statement on my part, absolute nonsense. I hope he's enjoyed his moment of glory, he won't have another at my expense.
"to my old pals, Ozzy, Geezer and Bill, sorry about this, I should have known better.
All the best, Tony"
While Iommi may feel betrayed by the article, the quotes are a little too specific - unless completely fabricated, which he did not contend - to deny the reunion is taking place.

Former Deep Purple keyboard player Jon Lord, one of the group's founding members who left in 2002, has announced that he has been diagnosed with cancer. A message from Lord reads as follows:
"I would like all my friends, followers, fans and fellow travelers to know that I am fighting cancer and will therefore be taking a break from performing while getting the treatment and cure. I shall of course be continuing to write music – in my world it just has to be part of the therapy – and I fully expect to be back in good shape next year.
"God bless and see you soon, Jon."

Liv Jagrell Of Sister Sin Discusses Her Darker Side
An interview conducted by Buick McKane.
Buick McKane: How are you doing today?
Liv Jagrell: I’m good, I’m good.
Buick: Great. You just got off tour with Otep. How did that go?
Liv: It went well. The Otep audience was a little bit different than our audience, so we had to be a little bit more convincing. I think it went well for what it was. So, yeah, it was good. Sometimes it was very good, and sometimes it was harder to convince the audience.
Buick: Right, how was the audience different? They were younger, maybe?
Liv: Yeah, they were younger, and, I mean, our music is more of the old school rock and roll, straight rock and roll. And Otep is a little more operatic and psychedelic maybe, heavy hard rock. So it’s kind of a different audience. But Blackguard was also on that tour, and they kind of have a similar kind of audience. So when Blackguard and us were, like, popular, Otep was less popular and opposite.
Buick: Right, well those kids need to know where metal comes from.
Liv: Absolutely.
Buick: Probably teaching them a bit better. Soon you’ll be going on tour with U.D.O. which, of course, Udo Dirkschneider is from Accept which is an old band. So are you excited about that tour?
Liv: Yeah, very excited because I think that his audience…I know that his audience is the same that would like our music. And we have friends in Germany and Scandanavia, so I think it’s going to be a very good tour.
